The field of women’s entrepreneurship has witnessed considerable development in recent years, attracting interest from academics, practitioners and policy makers. Published scholarship has increased significantly and the scope of thematic coverage has expanded. However, the field is still viewed by many as relatively new, slowly evolving and taking shape. There is still so much that we simply do not understand.

This online workshop (the first of two in this ECSB-sponsored series) aims to synthesise current knowledge in the field by reviewing some of the major themes that have been debated in the literature. Three leading international gender and entrepreneurship scholars will discuss their unique perspectives.
