Presenting research and receiving feedback is essential for academic progress. While ECSB annually organises two major conferences—the RENT Conference (Research in Entrepreneurship and Small Business, in collaboration with EIASM) and the 3E Conference (ECSB Entrepreneurship Education Conference)—we understand that attending in person is not always possible.
To make research exchange more accessible, ECSB is pleased to announce the second edition for:
ECSB Conference Goes Online
📅 Date: 18 February 2026
🕙 Time: 10:00–14:00 CET
This online event offers ECSB members the opportunity to present their research and engage in interactive discussions without travel.
Key Features:
- Free of charge for ECSB members
- Approximately 12–16 presentations
- Priority for ECSB members and authors who have not presented at RENT 2025 or 3E 2025
- All ECSB members are welcome to join as participants (registration will open once the programme has been confirmed in January)
Keynote Speaker:
We are honoured to welcome Professor Kim Klyver (University of Southern Denmark), who will deliver a keynote entitled:
“Rethinking entrepreneurship in causally entangled crises:
Towards a poly-crisis perspective.”
How to Participate:
- Submit your abstract (max. 900 words) to ecsbonline@utu.fi by 9 December 2025
- Include 1–2 sentences explaining why you wish to present
- No full paper submission required
- Each presenter will have an appointed discussant to kick off the discussion
Feedback and decisions will be communicated by early January. Accepted presenters must register and agree to present during the event.
