SUMMARY:ECSB Webinar by SocChange SIG - “Entrepreneurship and Social Change"
DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to invite you to the first webinar of the ECSB SocChange SIG in which we discuss how we frame entrepreneurship for social change\, and for whom and with what effects. We will further evaluate the potential of entrepreneurship for creating change for individuals\, communities\, and society with its transformative power that can lead to sustainable futures\, but we also critically stress on occasions that entrepreneurship also creates social inequalities and become unproductive. \nYou will hear from our three speakers\, Claire Champenois (Audencia Business School\, France)\, Steffen Korsgaard (University of Southern Denmark\, Denmark)\, and Frank Janssen (UCLouvain\, Belgium) (co-founders of the “SocChange” SIG)\, how they understand and study social change in the context of entrepreneurship and you will ask your questions and share your opinions on this topic. \nWebinar setup: Panel format. The webinar will last for an hour. Each speaker will discuss the topic for 10 minutes\, then we will continue with a Q&A session.
